The Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (UK) (ATCM) is a main regulatory body for the practice of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, tuina ¨C Chinese therapeutic massage in the UK. Currently, there are over 700 professionally qualified TCM practitioners registered with ATCM.
ATCM stands in a unique position in the United KingdomĄ¯s healthcare system, actively engaged in academics, research, and the practical application of traditional Chinese medicine, including acupuncture, Chinese medicine and Tuina. ATCM plays a crucial role in communication between traditional Chinese and western medicine, attracting a growing number of Chinese medicine practitioners while at the same time establishing a strong presence in the medical and patient communities.
Harlow Chinese Community Centre occupys a modest building leased from Harlow Council. The Centre has expanded over the years and can now offer a broader range of activities and facilities as listed below:
  • 1. Chinese Language School (Lessons in Mandarin and Cantonese).
  • 2. Elderly Group.
  • 3. Womens' Group.
  • 4. Music Group.
  • 5. Golf Club.
  • 6. The Centre can be hired for Conference, meetings and training purposes.
